Welcome to Moses Lake Professional Pharmacy.  Our mission is "to meet the unique needs of patients, by offering excellent pharmacy services, in an ever changing healthcare environment." 

The Pharmacists and Owners are Janet Needham and Shawn Needham.  This husband and wife team has been compounding for over 10 years.  Shawn is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy.  He is the instructor for the Advanced Compounding Course (Pharm 431).  The facilities at Moses Lake Professional Pharmacy are the didactic training site for the advanced compounding course. 

Our compounding specialists have been through extensive training with Professional Compounding Centers of America.  Our 500 square foot compounding laboratory includes all the equipment needed to compound quality preparations, including ointment mills, capsule machines, rapid dissolve tablet molds, homogenizer and much more.  At Moses Lake Professional Pharmacy, there is also a room dedicated to sterile compounding that houses a horizontal flow hood.  This allows us the ability to compound ophthalmic preparations, injectables and respiratory solutions. 

The facility also includes a private consultation room.  The room has a Cholestech monitoring machine which allows cholesterol testing and produces results in 5 minutes.  This is the area where private hormone consultations are done.  Janet and Shawn are both certified to give vaccines to adults including influenza, pneumonia, and hepatitis B.
